I have been here 4 months now and this city never ceases to amaze me...the only city where are 3am returning from lower parel, where i am busy working my ass off at the ad agency where i am an account director, i can see chaiwalla, traffic jams and bright lights all the way through. Crossing haji ali everyday makes me realise how communally close knit this city is...mahalaxmi mandir is next door...and yet so politically divided...shivaji park was a mess coz of shiv sena guys going crazy fighting each other...
PS: Above is my habitat at Nihar's place
yday i was asked to leave early as it was 6th dec and the y expected riot...i left at 11pm...much to the disraught of my bbf...but the city was its usual self...women taking evening walks at tardeo...a jam near race course...the window displays at breach candy...this city really never sleeps...
its been an active and happening 4 months...between shunning the attention of 4 suitors and getting in touch my childhood school crush...i have made friends, had food poisoning, bought loads of books - pls read "girl alone" its my story:), watched some movies, become a maasi - aunt for u non indians... and become far stronger emotionally...
i guess ending my list of "men i've dated" with a Z has been a revelation of sorts...
well...now here i am at 4.21pm at my desk at work eating dahi puri with extra meethi chutney (courtesy the office canteen), and writing this blog...
yeah i have a chill day today which by adv stabdards means i get home by 8pm:) inshallah...unless my dear boss sneaks up behind me and says "red riding hood...we have work to do"...don't ask...i have some weird nick names here at work...they range from Single Point to Paincha - owl in bengali...
ok...i think i will go back to reading up on alcohol...though my creative director thinks i should drink to understand liquor...well...i handle the biggest vodka brand in the country and one of the biggest in teh worls...what do i say...gotto go...life is calling...
