Acropolis and more...

It was a beautiful day when I ventured out to explore the lovely city of Athens. Bustling with the perfectly dressed men and women, Athen provides you a view of all that is modern and traditional. I stayed at the city center in a cute boutique hotel called The Electra. At $150 euros a night which ofcourse my company footed, I had access to everything. The location of the hotel was walking distance from Plaka, Acropolis, Temple of Zeus...and yeah some great food...

Ok so about the Acropolis...It took me and my friend Manjeet 2 hours to explore the great Acropolis...it costs about 12 euros to get a ticket which basically can get you entry in 4 different ancient sites including the Acropolis and the Temple of Olympian Zeus...

The climb is rough if you want to walk thorough the ruins...its relatively easy if you take the path made for tourists...we ofcourse walked through the ruins...let me tell you it can be slippery so make sure you are wearing flat shoes with rubber soles... so here is a link to where you can find more info on Acropolis and the surrounding areas:
