Portugal...a quiant country...with a quiant and small lil capital city of Lisboa or Lisbon as we know it...a city built on 7 hills...port wine, fish, green wine, cheese and cobbled streets make up the best part of Lisboa..
This little city is actually the largest city in Portugal...the people are kind but be careful of pick pockets...Lisbon is known for robbing you...tourist or not...so leave behind imp documents and cash..carry just about enough...
Baixa is the main shopping area and is part of the downtown area...Bairo Alto has the cutest restaurants and bars...Alfama is gorgeous...Saldanah is ok not that great but my lovely hotel is located there...Hotel Real Palacio at 130 euros a night is an awesome place to stay when visiting Lisbon...Baixa has the most amazing coffee shops and the streets are so narrow and so steep that you better be prepared to haul yourself around...cabs are easy to find...but Lisbon should be seen as much on foot as possible..
