Sikkim is paradise! I lived there for two yrs as a child when my dad was posted in Gangtok and I will never forget the picturesque cities, the lovely people and the clean air...

BEST SEASON TO VISIT : March to June and September to December
MAXIMUM SUMMER TEMPERATURE : 28 ° C
MINIMUM WINTER TEMPERATURE : 0 ° C

Some of the amazing sights to check out are in Gangtok, Pelling and Kalimpong. The drives to the lakes can be tedious and time consuming but the view there is so breathtaking that it is worth the ride...

Do check out Bikstang, Pemayangtse monastery, Sangachoeling monastery, Khecheopalri lake, Kathok lake, Nathula pass, Teetsa river, Rumtek monastery, the Yumthang hot springs, Zemu glacier - if you are in time for it.... for the best trip...do stay for atleast 10 - 12 days min...

Do visit...:) I fell in love at first sight...
