I am back in India in the sultry land of Mumbai...the horns are blaring, the crowds are rampant and the pollution in mind numbing...Spent most of last week recovering from an angry bout of jet lag...had forgotten how bad it gets when you fly across the atlantic...loved my vacay...had a blast...spent 10 days in CA and really didnt wanna come back...well...I had GOOOODDD reason to stay back but well...work comes calling and then follow the bills so to feed my hungry tummy and pay my for my shoes I had to hop on that long journey and head back home... Am going to Hyd this weekend...have a huge knapsack full of stuff for Babbi...I dont know what to get him for his 2nd bday considering my mom stole my idea and bought him that baterry operated car which he now drives around like a maniac ramming into walls and ppl...
I miss my days spent lazing around...walking to Starbucks and just sitting there reading...catcthing a mobie and eating sushi for lunch...am tanned and have lost weight or so ppl say but i loved it there...Napa was awesome...got drunk at the first wine tasting itself....so as you can see i am a cheap drunk...
Life back here has still not sunk in...spent the weekend unpacking and sleeping in and yeah cleaning up...my place looked like a hurricane had just been through it...but considering that i shopped so much its not much suprise that the whole living room (and its not that bog let me remind you in case you think I am some shopaholic) floor was jammed with stuff...bath and body works, GAP, Old Navy, Vic's Secret...name the brand and I had it on my floor...
Well..its back to work...and the daily grind...waiting for Friday evening to get away....go home and meet my family and friends...esp ma and Babbi...
