A WEDNESDAY...

If you want to watch great acting, great editing, great directing and a movie that keeps you on the edge of your seat and leads you to a nail biting finish watch A WEDNESDAY. The movie about a common man and the frustrations that lead him to take desperate measures. The movie is loosely based on the bomb blast of 2006 which shook Mumbai. The local trains that were attacked and the common man through them, is the basis of the story. All actors were brilliant. I was ofcourse expecting histronics from Naseeruddin Shah and Anupam Khar but Aamir Bashir in his role of a Mumbai cop and Jimmy Shergil as the hard hearted ATS officer really surprised me.

The movie leaves you wondering what next? It was not only the great script but also the ability of the director to keep the story moving at such a fast and interesting pace that needs to be appluaded. I think this is one the finest movies of recent times and if you are planning to watch something that not only entertains you but also makes you think...watch this. I agree with the audience that stood up and gave the movie a standing ovation...it was brilliant...Neeraj Pandey deserves a pat on his back!
